FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
Q: Are these 4 wheel drive all the time?
-
All models, except for the OnRange, feature full-time four-wheel drive. For challenging terrain such as snow, mud, or other low-traction conditions, a locking differential is recommended—either on the rear axle alone or on both the front and rear axles. This ensures that the entire axle continues to spin even if one wheel loses traction. The locking differential engages automatically when a loss of traction is detected.

Q: How fast can a HuntVe go?

Our vehicles are intentionally limited to a top speed of 25 MPH, as they are designed primarily for utility purposes where high speeds are typically unnecessary. In many cases, users request an even lower speed—such as corporations aiming to enforce safer driving practices for employees or grandparents seeking a slower speed for their grandchildren.

Q: Is the HuntVe a legal “LSV” (Low Speed Vehicle)?
-
While the HuntVe vehicle has the features to meet the requirements of being an LSV, it is not a federally registered LSV. It does have a VIN, so some municipalities will tag it for street use, but only as an “offroad vehicle”.
